Dyspepsia Cure, page 256
Two ounces lime water, 4 ounces of sweet milk, 10 grains of salt. To make lime water, take 2 table-spoonfuls of unslacked lime or 3 or air slacked, and pour 3 quarts of boiling water (rain water) let it settle and get 2 quarts of clear water. Put in it a glass or a stone jar. {sic}
